Thanks to your support, 2025 was a year of real progress and impact. Here are just a few highlights:
· We issued a white paper recommending strategies to preserve Philadelphia’s historic school buildings as the School District plans for their future.
· We led a coalition of nearly 50 history and preservation organizations in urging the federal government to protect the interpretation of American history at Independence National Historical Park.
· We commissioned a study on the economic impact of historic preservation in Philadelphia—demonstrating how historic tax credit projects generate billions in investment, create thousands of jobs, and deliver millions in tax revenue.
· We co-produced a symposium on the future of the Roundhouse (the Police Administration Building) with the Philadelphia chapter of Docomomo-US, encouraging thoughtful reuse of this vacant 1962 Modernist landmark.
The Alliance will continue to advocate for the protection and renewal of our historic and cultural resources—but we can’t do it without you.
