Location

3001 Byberry Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154

Date & Time

Saturday, September 13th, 2025 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Join us for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and cultural sharing as we gather around for Living Connections: Lenape Storytelling. Held near the Poquessing Trail, this event invites community members to experience traditional Lenape oral storytelling, songs, and teachings shared by Lenape Elders and cultural educators from the Delaware Tribe of Indians.

We'll explore the stories that have guided the Lenape people for generations - offering insight into Lenape worldviews, values, and their deep relationship with this land. Guests are welcome to sit in respectful silence or engage in dialogue as we come together in the spirit of remembering, honoring, and continuing the tradition of storytelling. All are welcome - bring your hearts, your questions, and your listening ears.
